有鉴于邻近地区已设有警局，六个邻里警岗将从2月26日起永久关闭，当局也将在2025年增建新的八个警岗，以便更好地在全岛各地扩展警察服务。

当局将永久关闭的六个邻里警岗分别分布在里峇峇利、武吉班让北、中峇鲁、麦波申、蒙巴登和丰嘉南。
