then build a bridge linking mainland to there
maybe build some hotels/motels to increase the activities to bring more life there
Sounds like good idea. Need bigger reservoir for jumping as Bedok is becoming too small with too many foreigners.      Big Grin

sinkies should be proud that they can drink longkang water without side effect.

AFTER BUILD A RESERVOIR
WHERE ARE THEY GOING TO GET THE WATER FROM
SINCE BECOS OF WATER SHORTAGE
I TOT WWE HAVE HYFLUX WATER MAKING PLANT
Since the Govt is so into land reclamation, why not just build an entire island and a reservoir within it to collect drinking water?

Errr.... foreigners also contribute their share of new water OK? As a rule of thumb, 40% of the NeWater come from foreigners... Rolleyes
fyi pualau ubin is ard 12x bigger than marichite reservoir the biggest in spore

It's a good idea to make use of our offshore islands to collect water. We can consider building pipes undersea to bring the water back to mainland.
pap are not here to solve problems
they are here to create problem then profit from it
eg...no water
so increase water price to stop pple from using it..which is impratical..

they will never build more resovior
becos it costs them money..

having enough water for  humans n industries is far more important than a retirement village.
