I know that place. Sims ave and also geylang road on the opposite side. Lots of jaywalkers blithely walk as if they own the road.

While I will not knock them down (only because need to pay fine) I am glad others taught these jaywalkers a lesson

One man and one girl. The girl was wearing white. Not 2 man.  Traffic is light.  The driver of the car must be having too many drinks not to notice the pedestrian.

Crossing that road is rather challenging. When you think there is no car coming, suddenly a car may appear from the side lane. There are also many cars park at the side of the road and you won't know when they will suddenly move out. Another problem is that the pedestrian crossing can be more than a 100m away.

Actually tbh, these pedestrians are just plain lazy or impatient to wait at the traffic lights.

geylang has the most jaywalking in spore.
if u dont jaywalking u cant cross hv to wait v long,more pedestrain crossing shld be installed

If I’m the driver, I will be extra careful there due to the numerous jaywalkers.  

If I’m walking around there, I will still wait at the designated traffic lights.  Not worth risking life and limb just to save a couple of minutes
