16.7% per household is sizable revenue for govt. How many HDB flats? Doesn't mean that 2017 till now never increase then justifiable the big jump. If the bulk of this is going to the low income cleaners, then it's still OK. But if it's going to the company and means we fund the bosses on their next Bentley or GCB, why we need to do that? Volume of rubbish went up from each household? Natural population did not increase much. If population went up, it's mostly self inflicted inflow of foreigners. Then govt pays for it than to ask everyone to pay rite? We not getting a cut on the monthly $700 levy per fw...

Plot twist Gov is more want to help business to get more taxes. You think boss will increase those bangla rubbish collector or locals doing this job ??
