The US has a total asset of about $269 trillion (1576% of GDP) and the total debt is about $145.8 trillion (852% of GDP).

If the interest is @ 4% say, the $1 trillion debt would translate to a debt of about $25 trillion. This must be the current debt. So, provided their current asset is more than $25 trillion; otherwise, they would have difficulties paying their short-term debts.
The current asset listed in the wiki was $156 Trillion in 2021. Don't see there is a need for them to worry about them having a short-term financial problem.
