Suppose I totally agree with what the article say that Grab wil be a success.

How much is Grab worth :
1. $2B ...
2. $15B.
3. $40B
4. Higher than 40B.

Maybe Grab will be a 100B company.
Maybe not.

When you cannot work out the value of a company we are just speculating on its future.

You can make money if you speculate and hit jack pot like Tesla.

Not that you will always lose but it is risky and often end in tears.

Investing and speculation are different activities.

Because Amazon lose money and concentrate on revenue plus customer acquisition to be a success. It does not mean all companies and jndustey following thus model leads to success.

Comfort which dominated the taxi business for 20yrs can hardly hang on to its $3B valuation.

CDG is a totally different ball game. A traditional slow moving company. Bad comparison.

Grab is not taxi anymore. It is a super app in the new digital smart economy.

They may make or break depending on many factors. The article is looking at a positive angle. 

Obviously it is not for everyone that's why most people miss the Amazons, Googles, Apples or even Bitcoin.

A lockdown and cow world.
It exists for people to be lockout stay home and order foods like lepers.
Foods must be clean and hot and eat happy.

Sure it is possible. For every amazon there are many dead corpses of companies that did not make it and were killed by competition....so it is a matter of odds.

All of them will disappear if credit flows stop.
