Last time whenever there is a hole in my shirt or pants or if I need to alter the length I would ask my mother to do it 

As she got older her eye sight became poor so I stopped asking her. I would pay my neighbors maid $5 to alter my pants. She has one of those Singer machines take one minute settle. 

Last week she left for home. I discovered a hole in my pocket and coins would fall out. 

With no one to sew and patch, I thought I better learn this skill otherwise I would have to through away cloths once they have holes.

I searched for solutions and found this. It is better that sewing and started to experiment with it. 

First I fixed the hole in my pocket.....it worked.

Then I altered one of my pants.....that also worked...and looks nicer than if it was sewed

The method I used is called fabric gluing. 

How come simple thing like sewing you also cannot must depend on mum? Know how to wash dishes or not?    

Should try once so you'll know easy it is

I  can cook wash dishes clean house ...but never learned sewing....

I don’t think it secured after a while will break off you see the last part of the. Video can easily tear off

That part js to show what happen if you put too much or too little glue.

So far it is washable and.can be pulled with no issues

Utube got teach people how to mend clothes 
Learn very easy 
Only don’t get poke by the needle

Looks normal wear n tear from outside.

Many small holes on top part could be cigarette burnt holes

1/2 a year liao. Thats why took me so long to search for the photos. Still going strong.

Next time buy pants with no pocket. Problem solved.

Just carry a pouch bag and hang it round your waist or neck.
