They are running a legalized ponzi scheme for the rich.
The rich are also not stupid. If they see AIA sending their agents on overseas incentive trips, who do they think is footing the bill? One local insurer (N***) even sent their agents to watch ManU match in UK recently.
AIA is drowning for past 15 years
Their Training Center is long gone
And no Banks want to tie up with them
Expensive premiums and no cash back returns.
