At around 70, he had a stroke and it's been decades. Indeed, he suffered a lot but it is not for us humans to say anything, even if we feel sorry for him. If you apply KARMA to everything that happens to a purrson, then whatever must be must be, whatever has to happen has to happen.

Not only Buddhists believe in Karma, other religions like Hinduism, Jainism and Taoism also believe in Karma. In Buddhist context, Karma is not transferable.
