Politician are there for the show so there is no point showing off when there are no cameras present.

This fellar is probably not aware that most of the hawkers in that area including Bouna Vista have very bad opinion of him. They found him very sombong like a piece of shit after meeting him.  This was before LW was appointed to take over the steering wheel.
