Sony PlayStation ninetendo Toyota....

Main reason is cost of living remain the same or lower than 20yrs ago so salary stagnant ...they still lock in a developed country standard of living.

Look at USA ....the salaries went up but there are working homeless due to housing price surge.

Ideally salary go up and cost of living rises slowly...slower than salary rise.

Developed country standard of living, mainly depend the infrastructure build years ago.
And is becoming common found in developing countries as well.
Inability to innovate is the key.

Fed rate has pull lot of dollar back home, however as dollar strengthen, pressure is on corp profits,
they face rising rate and cost of operation so we see layoff or raise price of services and rental.
