It's becoz 1,740 Oz top companies Regional HQ in Singapore are starting to pay Australian Corp Tax im Australia instead of practicing tax avoidance paying low Singapore corp tax .
Oz govt considering those companies as irresponsible and Cheating.

So Singapore govt $$$ were largely God send thus, can afford to give to workers.

Aussie Taxation office forces overseas regional offices to pay Aussie corporate taxes, which are much higher. This day time robbery, why would these companies based in Southeast Asia pay taxes to ATO? doesn’t make sense at all.

Exactly, things are getting very very costly downunder, even for Aussie local fruits like strawberries and blue berries are more expensive than that sold in NTUC in Spore. The stupid TS just doesn’t get it.
Only these jobless people and pensioners are entitled to, others get nothing.
From the surface it sounds like Aussie garment gives free money, on the other hand inflation goes higher year after year.
Aussie garment is very stupid in giving grants and incentives...last time it gave 10-20k first home buyer grant to help young people buy first homes as properties are getting too expensive, you know what happened? the property developers and real estate agencies increased the property price by 10-20k or more, as a result the grant was eaten up by property developers or agencies, buyers benefited nothing. The same thing happens in this occasion, after announcing garment will give free money to 5.2 million people, all retail shops will increase prices, in the end things are getting more expensive year after year and general public get nothing.

Did you report to ATO your rental income collected from your property in Spore? If you never declare you will be penalised heavily by ATO for tax evasion once it finds out...nowadays ATO spends tens of millions each year to catch people who never pay taxes for overseas income thru big data matching...dunt play play....you may lose your PR status and go to jail.

In last 2 years, Oz govt allows workers to withdraw up to A$20,000 super W/O paying back.
Does SG govt allow that?

For a retired Sg pensioners to collect S$2000 CPF payout a month, he/she must have at least S$400k balance in CPF RA savings..
While in Australia, govt gives each pensioner A$2000 free money a month, and yet, inflation adjusted yearly

You spread fake news again, not everyone is entitled to the Age payment after 60 in Australia, Cebtrelink will assess your wealth, you must pass the income test and asset test at Centrelink. If you have more than property, high income and large savings at bank, you get nothing from Aussie garment. Go check out with Centrelink today lor.
