They can learn this from CCP.  Build a firewall,  censor every negative remark and attack on Government policy plus introduce a National security rating system.  Monitor every movement of the dissidents such that they will be punished once they air something negative on the Internet. 

Guess Modi does not have the guts to do it because it is against the constitution.  He will be voted out double quick.

The other way is to adopt the Singapore way. Profoma them and bring them to court if necessary but it might not work in India because India has a huge population and the Government will be very busy doing "cat and mouse" work.

China and India have the world's biggest populations. End of similarity.

The Chinese are quite soft just like those in Taiwan where they are known as🍓。

In contrast those in India can get riotous and if you want to make any attempt at organised riots difficult, you will need to disable the internet service.

Disabling the internet service is actually what every government will do if things seem to be getting out of hand. I am sure the Singapore government will also do that.

The Chinese use code words instead of the actual words. 

It takes a while for the Communists to realize that those words referred to them by which taim the Chinese would have come up with another set of code words.
