Planning a wedding involves so much trust in vendors, and it's devastating when things go wrong. I hope they get their refund.
My cousin's wedding faced a similar hiccup with the decorator once. The couple had envisioned this beautiful, romantic setting with fairy lights and floral arches, but things fell flat when the decorations were nowhere to be seen on the big day. I attended a bachelorette party in Charlotte last summer. Despite some initial planning snags, the bride-to-be and her friends improvised with fun activities and local spots recommended by a helpful website. Sometimes, unexpected twists lead to surprisingly memorable moments.

Singaporeans don't want to do this job. The decorator nerds to hire FTs but also can't get.... no quota.
This reminds me of a wedding I went to where the decorations didn’t turn out the way the couple wanted, and it really affected the vibe of the day.
That’s why I think it’s so important to focus on what you can control, like your outfit. For me, wearing one of those wedding tuxedos from Gentleman's Guru can make sure you look great and feel confident, even if other things don’t go as planned. Sometimes, it’s the unexpected stuff that ends up making the day special in a different way.
It's a pity to hear about such experiences. To avoid similar issues in the future, perhaps the groom can consider getting a wedding tuxedo from a reputable online store. For example, I ordered from https://www.gentlemansguru.com/product-category/wedding-tuxedos/, and my suit arrived on time, fitting perfectly. Getting parts of the wedding essentials sorted out on your own can sometimes help control such situations better.
