This project will bring no ROI to the U.S. and Japan, and labour cost will be very expensive under U.S. or Japanese standards….most likely talk only no
action…the Philippines is very stupid, the U.S. wants them to fight China as cannon fodder rather than helping them to develop infrastructure and economy, the US doesn’t even have money to develop its own infrastructure, why should Biden pump money in the Philippines and get nothing in return?

Like that ah.  Quite sure Philippines will b bad mouthed and the project will b cursed.  If the witch craft works ,  someone will pray tt this project will died sooner b4 it can start.

The project cost only about USD900 million.  Philippines presently has a GDP growth of 5.7% or around USD500 billion which is about the same as Singapore.  It has the fastest 1Q 24 growth in SEA.  USD 1billion is only 0.2% of their GDP,  quite sure they can afford it without any external help.

How cum some countries couldn't build own infrastructures like railways? Stewpig or lazy? 好吃懒做？
