How can England be among the favourites to win the European Championship in 2024 when they lost 0-1 at home to Iceland, who were soundly thrashed 0-4 by Holland in their very next game? Iceland also didn't manage to qualify for Euro 2024.

Very simple statistics. How many WC and Euro Cup has England won throughout the years? England always promise a lot but deliver so little. I prefer Germany. Even when their new generation are so much lower skilled than England same generation they at least perform decently.
