Steal not Rob. Not serious lah.
Nowadays news must indicate Singaporean ah?
Saw this thread and had to chime in. Bringing toddlers to steal milk powder? That's pretty wild! Personally, I think it's not cool at all. Toddlers should be learning good habits, not getting mixed up in sticky situations like this. Plus, stealing is just not the way to go. If they needed milk powder, there are better ways to get it, like asking for help or finding some organic coconut milk powder on sale. What do you all think about this?
Must be those no study book young parents I think. No study so bang bang shiok shiok then pop come out babies. No monies feed so steal lor. Actually if no monies Spore law should make it legal to sell babies since biological parents no monies. But Spore govt scared these young ppl no monies think of give birth babies to make monies moral decay?

The fact that this young mother paid her $3,500 fine in full to escape imprisonment, shows that she did not steal because of her financial difficulties. She and her hubby must have gotten away with shop theft on many previous occasions for them to act so boldly.

It is wrong to steal.

But it is also wrong for the price of milk powder to become unaffordable for those who have children.

It is wrong to steal, so our leaders just decide their own pay - no matter how obscene it is - to make it all appear above board. If they have to create policies that heap hardship on their citizens, then so be it. The ends justify the means to the Pappies.
They stole to resale not consume...
pap must tackle.our high inflation..really out.of control.

Those are not greed but illness. Mental condition, not controllable.

I believe it's called kleptomania when the person has irresistible urges to steal things that they don't need and are able to afford.

There are CCTVs and security tags in most stores these days. Shoplifters are easily identified even after they have left the shop.

Those who shoplift to resell the goods online are leaving their footprints everywhere.
