Former hedge fund manager made a deep thoughtful video explaining the fianncial phenomena we are seeing today drawing parallels with social media where the facade is more important than actualities.

The big wave has put paid to old fashion value investing that aims for paltry 15% returns a year. Young guns are looking for the next Bitcoin, Tesla and Nvidia ...defying logic and conventions....
 

This line of argument perhaps gives some logic to speciation

1. Governments aee in disarray.
2. They print money and cause crisis and volatility.
3. Like it on not our lives have become a gamblein the modern era. Whether you put effort in a job, you may retrenched anytime. If you buy a house it can go up and down in value by alot.
4. In the chaos we might as well be better gamblers ....because there is no choice.
