One thing in their favor is most Americans dint really want a character like Trump to run the country. His last term was chaotic and scandalous. He is likely to abuse power if elected. The stature of US fell during his term.

Just a credible sensible candidate will do.

Also it's a long way to.voting day. 5 months. UK election campaign is 1 month. Singapore is like 2 weeks.

The new candidate would have more than enough time to campaign.

Most likely a 2 woman team led by Kamala Harris.
