I do have one cousin current stay in Aust study and work in F&B
Whereas in SG , opposite is " not local doing " also " foreigner students and foreigner "

Your logic is wrong, small country has small unemployment? Lithuania is also a small country with population of 2 million but unemployment is very high. 8.9%.
The reason Spore has less unemployment is because it is a regional hub and financial centre, many MNCs set up regional HQ here. In Australia job market is much smaller and job opportunities is much less because it doesn’t have many international MNCs there, most of the companies are local companies, no international presence, for business trip people will only travel between different Aussie cities, many Aussies will fight for that opportunity, very suaku. Unemployment rate downunder has always been high, around 5-6%.

In Aussie land those that are unemployed can get social security and that will make able to survive even if unemployed......

Nowadays Aussie garment uses a private company manage & handle welfare payments, very hard to get full payment. Let’s say a person is out of job and applies for unemployment payment of $1k. The garment will do asset test and income test to assess his entitlement to check if this person has investment properties, rental income and how much money he has in the bank and shares. If the person has other income and has a few thousands in the bank, his payment will be reduced according, in the end, he may only get $500 payment per month.

Same thing happens in Australia, a lot of F & B jobs become available as all the foreign students who used to work at these low pay jobs went back home….and many vacancies in the farms as foreigners who used to work there picking fruits on working holiday jobs all went back….no Aussies want to do such jobs….hard to find workers.

true but one thing they slowly recover as PRC , Singaporean , etc students going back study in return " part time workers " slowly regain.

PRCs are not going back as China stop all its citizens travel overseas until end 2022 the earliest…Sporeans will not work at these Low paid jobs. But my point is all these so called new job vacancies are mostly these F & B jobs.
