China should just leave the Olympics la.... It's a western construct, not suited for Chinese. The playing field and public opinion will always be tilted against Chinese. So why bother? Since China already refused to join Western rules-based order, while Japan and Korea already joined, why even bother with Olympics.

So all developing countries should not join ?
It's a good idea to hv china's version of Olympics and aso nobel prizes. If they're already such events make the prizes very attractive and open to all. Reserve some events for weaker countries so everyone has a chance

Agree 100% lah. If a civilization is really sovereign and independent, should only play by its own rules. Playing by another civilization's rules while maintaining sovereignty and independence will only end in disgruntlement and resentment.
You can take China and Russia as real life and current examples.
