I have an elderly aunt who has always been a careful and considerate driver. She was certified fit to continue driving till her early 80s, and only decided to call it a day when she was hit by a speeding driver while turning into the driveway of her landed home. The Traffic Police decided that my aunt was in the wrong as she was the turning vehicle, even though the other car was speeding along a minor road where her house is located. Thankfully, she was shaken, but not hurt. However, she never drove again after that mishap.
