People with lower emotional intelligence (EQ) may use phrases that:

1. Blame others: "You always/never...", "It's your fault..."
2. Avoid accountability: "I don't know", "I forgot", "It's not my problem"
3. Dismiss emotions: "Don't be so sensitive", "You're overreacting"
4. Use aggression: "I'm right, you're wrong", "You're stupid/ridiculous"
5. Show insensitivity: "Get over it", "Stop being so emotional"
6. Fail to empathize: "I don't care", "That's not my problem"
7. Use passive-aggressive tone: "Fine", "Whatever", "I don't know, maybe"
8. Make assumptions: "You think/feel...", "You always want..."
9. Show lack of self-awareness: "I'm perfect/fine", "I don't need to change"
10. Use manipulative language: "If you really loved me...", "You owe me..."

Keep in mind that everyone can have moments of lower EQ, but frequent use of these phrases may indicate a pattern of lower emotional intelligence.
