Basically it reduces water droplets reaching the other party hence reducing spread.

It's not perfect as you breathe and talk moist air carrying the virus can still pass through.

My thinking is this.

The Delta variant is so infectious it seems to reduce effectiveness of masks ...the cloth and paper masks.

So shouldn't we think of using better masks to protect ourselves. One way is to wear 2 masks. The other way is to use N95 instead.

To be very safe, wear double masks

Wear those chemical warfare mask with carbon filter media cannister.

Main problem is many are just donning masks just because it is compulsory.

Just look around, some are just "hanging " their masks below their noses and jaws. Many others are wearing them loosely, enabling viruses easy entry into their systems.

Stricter enforcement is certainly integral to prevent unnecessary Covid spread.

10% of those 60 &  above have dementia. That is around 90,000.

Difficult to make them remember to wear mask and wear properly.  The best is to use token for all places for Safe Entry ie Hawker Center
