I think this is more a Boeing issue than USA issue. USA still has SpaceX.

Boeing issue is a global issue that will cause the downfall for all companies and governments. The fact that you have more in management doing talks and less of actual people on the ground working right is the issue. The disparity and inequality between management and workforce will cause the decline in all human establishments.
