If you prefer decent exchanges, get back to edmw. But there, you will have other problems....some of the mods there are no angels, and they think too highly of themselves just because they are mods.

EDMW may not have decent exchanges. Sometimes I do go back to take a look but too many juveniles with kym threads. And yes, I don't like the mods there. The main reason I came from EDMW to this forum is because of the mods. They thought they're higher beings and can just ban people without good reasons. I just called one guy there a hypocrite and I was banned!?

Depends on whom you called a hypocrite. If the mod likes that guy, you get banned. If it is some other mod who picks up the "Report Post" he might just let it pass.
But if you have offended a mod before, you will be marked forever....

On the subject of ban, I got banned yesterday for a while (not sure for how long), tried logging in yesterday evening. Then a message popped up says that I am banned.
Not sure why I was banned, wrote to admin, but no explanations were provided. Last night managed to get access again.

Anyway this is an open forum, which allow freedom of speech. To penalise someone the verdict should be provided. Otherwise why penalised without any reasons? If we want to fault someone we need to provide the evidence so that the same mistakes will not happen again. Just my opinion
