Using an air purifier to remove formaldehyde?

Some plants are said to be effective air purifiers. I think you’ll need to use many of them
Actually those using one obviously you need to close all your windows etc. To prevent outside air come in.

But problem is Do you change the filter ? When the last time you change? Is it worth it ? How much the filter?

I do know there are some air purifiers claim their filter no need to change, just remove use watch to spray and put back good to use again forever. But end of the day the best still Open your window let Fresh air come in your home.
