I am buying a Noise Meter to measure the monthly noise

made by the Buddhist/ Toaist Prayers 

Should I buy A or C type?

I tried. Not very good, leh

Maybe because my phone don't have good noise detector needle or something

phones hv noise cancelling capability. Identify those holes for noise cancellation and cover them up. With that the noise will be clearer

I compared the 2 devices

Normal situations iphone calibrated often measure 55-65DB

while the noise meter at the same time side- by-side measures 65- 75DB

So Noise Meter is better.
