They already got information that handphones can be used. Thus, they switch to using pagers. Some noticed that the pagers were heating up so they threw them away.

As long as there are batteries or electrical sources, there can be problems. Countries have been using electrical sources as a hacking method for a long time.

The news is that they planted it inside the Taiwanese-made pagers. Don't know true a not.
