The end of the world is near?
bad weather. some rule need to adjust.
especially road work. sunday not much vehicle traffic. road work also stop. those busy road , road should do on sunday and rest on fri. this will help everyone . safer for worker. lesser traffic jammed for road users.
cannot work on sunday? all other service oriented workers, work on sunday as normal pay and rest on another day of week.
think about it. the number of road block for work is a problem.
example the digging at thomson road/balestial road junction on the left most lane next to traffic light. the left most lane is a left turn lane.or most vehicle doing left turn. by blocking the left most lane. the left turn vehicle go to next lane on right to turn left. results massive jammed along thomson road before the junction. such kind of blocking does not increase the safety of the workers doing digging. just cause more traffic jammed, such work should be done on sunday. put a water filled block infront of the work to prevent accident.
put cone along the left most and next lane to slow down traffic . that will allow left turn traffic to slow down and turn without having to take up next lane. please executive don't be lazy and jsut put in the rule. the worker will follow rule strictly for they are not wrong. the wrong is executive who put in the rule but did not check to reduce traffic jam .
or is the thinking traffic jam your problem. i only care about safety.
How come MOM and WSH Council did not advise peasants and employees to be careful and take necessary safety measures to avoid getting injured or killed by the weird weather? Knnah only employers important ah?
Stop urbanisation will help to alleviate erratic weather conditions. How come they dont advise, solve from the root cause?
治标不治本，永远解决不了问题。

Nobody can actually overcome the forces of nature.
Adverse erratic weather behaviour, it is just the nature trying very hard to self repairing the planet Earth. Human being has been destroying this planet Earth.
