The prices of goods and services will rise when a country becomes overpopulated. S'poreans have witnessed this first hand. As our population grows, so does the demand for food, housing, cars, energy etc. which pushes prices up. Overpopulation leads to scarcity of resources as our land is limited; growing enough food for a larger population becomes more difficult, and drives up prices. A larger population means more people (including foreigners) competing for jobs, which leads to lower wages and higher unemployment rates. This in turn affects the cost of living. Overpopulation will strain SG's infrastructure i.e. roads, public transportation and healthcare systems. To accommodate a larger population, the Govt needs to invest in new infrastructure, which can increase costs for consumers. Overpopulation creates upward pressure on prices.
At this rate, we may need to reclaim the whole Singapore Strait into land.

S'pore needs to convince Johor to breakaway from the rest of Malaysia to join us!
Even farmers know that overcrowding has severe negative effects on the health and behaviour of farm animals. When animals are crammed into small spaces, they experience chronic stress and anxiety. This can lead to a range of behavioural problems, including aggression and self-harm. Close proximity between animals spreads diseases, especially contagious ones. This leads to outbreaks and increased death rates. Overcrowding may compromise the animals' welfare, as they may not have enough space to move freely, eat or rest comfortably. This may lead to physical and psychological suffering. In extreme cases of overcrowding and stress, animals may resort to cannibalism. This is a disturbing but sometimes necessary survival mechanism. Why is our Govt treating us worse than farm animals?
We could end up like this.

10million is their goal lah…
COE will be $500k.
the grow in foreign population has result in demand of housing.

there is also a grow of agent who will rent the entire hdb and sublet to workers. making a mass of the hdb environment.
hope government can review and make it illegal for agent to rent entire and sub rent. so call making free money. make a mass of the hdb living area. also reduce the number of foreigner in each unit as that is driving the hdb price.
We are going to be like them.

S'pore has a family dynasty as well as a ceremonial and compliant President.

The problem is that our Govt is accepting all manner of foreign nationals with dubious backgrounds into the country. A 42-year-old Singapore PR from China, Wang Lin, pleaded guilty to one charge of voluntarily causing hurt to Mr Prakash Govindan Damodaran. The court heard that Wang was in his BMW X5 car on Nov 6, 2021 and heading towards a taxi drop-off point outside United Square. The 56-year-old victim was directing traffic when told Wang he was not permitted to enter the lane for taxis, and that he could drive into the mall - which had a 30-minute free parking grace period - to pick up his passengers. Wang was unhappy and swerved past the victim before stopping his car and getting out to confront the security guard. He shoved the victim with both hands, and the latter fell on his back. He sounds like another money launderer residing in S'pore.
