have always been slow,, what is 40kmph..
The longest shutdown on record.
Deserve a certificate for that.
And still have the cheek to raise mrt fares Rolleyes
That is why they said slow and steady win the race...

u all must be patient for a rise in MRT fare...wait after the service is over they will charge u all.....song bor.
Dec raised the fare. June will up again due to slower ride and need more frequency to ferry 6 million people in small country. Keep upping population and will be keep increasing fare.

Likely will have Signal Fault this week morning peak hour. Trust me.
Take at own risk

What insurance coverage SMRT gives in event of injury or death?

No one knows, because all you gongkias just simply trust PAP SMRT

Song Boh?
People cycle faster than 40km/hr

slower speed should reduce MRT fare.

why same fare at slower speed ?
Tactically means " is not fully repair " On surface train can resume running but I feel they worry is " those track just been fixed might give way again " So run in slow speed like " warm up the track see how "

A former Public Transport Council chairman says commuters should pay the fare increased first then, they will improve their service.

You are Correct.

 Time is money..

Example: An airlines flying direct from A to B costs more than one having to transit via C, another airport.
They now need to fix the root cause before another wheel axle drop off and damage more tracks elsewhere.
How is the situation now?
Huat ah. Now must increase fares!!
Now I think they need to check on the north east line as well
Top management don’t know how it work of cause lower level can smoke them and easily passed.

Saw Mr Ang, MP from Nanyang Constituency, under West coast GRC, mingling with the dinners fortnight ago at Pioneer Hawkers Food Centre.
Wow didn't know he is a Chief Executive officer of Strides Premier.
He looked amiable and approachable.

A strong contender for votes.
