THAAD: Maximum speed 6,300 mph (2,800 m/s; 10,000 km/h; Mach 8.2)


Iran's Fattah-1 qualifies as a hypersonic weapon. Various reports suggest that the Fattah-1 can travel towards its target at speeds of up to Mach 13.

While the THAAD’s missile range can intercept targets up to 200 km, its radar, the AN-TPY-2, can reach much further to around 1,000 km. It can also switch to a forward-based mode, which extends its range to 2,000 km.
