U.S. Commerce Department is investigating TSMC for allegedly supplying semiconductor chips to Huawei, raising concerns about compliance with U.S. sanctions.

All China phone manufacturers except Huawei are now rushing to get Qualcomm's SnapDragon 8 Elite CPU for their new phones in order to compete with Apple and Samsung. The new SnapDragon 8 Elite are much more superior than the kirin chips used by Huawei.

According to this article, the new Kirin chip 9100 yet to be mass-produced can only rival the older SnapDragon 8 Gen 2

If TSMC doesn’t supply its chips to Huawei and China market, it will lose business sooner or later.
Snapdragon elite beats Apple A18 although they r all 3 nm chip but A18 is better in consumption per watt

TSMC said it has found out who supply its chips to Huawei and has since cut off the supply to tt company
