A family of four owed their landlord $6,800 in rent and were given two days to pay the amount owed. But they packed up their belongings and moved out overnight. The landlord, surnamed Li, had rented out his two-bedroom condominium unit in Yishun to the Singaporean family.

That's the problem with being a landlord that no one mentions. I also recently visited a unit listed for sale, with the tenant moving out only recently. The tenant managed to destroy the door jamb for the kitchen, among other issues. Some tenants are just horrible people. The owner still wanted to sell his unit for an unrealistic price, so I don't pity him either.
