Good time 8 mths bonus, bad time never see them no bonus and AWS.
SIA "profit nearly halves amid intensifying competition"

Singapore has the world's No. 1 most powerfull passport to 190 countries while SIA only flies to 120 destinations (not countries)

SIA kitchen only cook 52,000 meals a day compare to Qatar airways 200,000 meals.

In fact, SIA should be cooking up at least 250,000 a day.

"Singapore Airlines gets $19bn lifeline as airlines beg for help"

"Singapore’s state investor Temasek Holdings and others will inject as much as 19 billion Singapore dollars ($13.27bn) into Singapore Airlines (SIA) in the world’s single-biggest rescue of an airline slammed by the coronavirus pandemic."
"SIA will need government aid to survive impact of Covid-19, say analysts"

.
Why both SIA and Scoot are fearful of AirAsia?
In 2020, Temasek rescued SIA by injecting S$ 19 billions helping SIA from dying.

And three years later,  in 2023, SIA announced 8 months bonus for employees and CEOs salary jumped of 20.6% to S$8.1 mio.

How can SIA profits suddenly dropped from April to Sept 2024 by 59%?
