Russia on Thursday tested a new and experimental hypersonic intermediate-range missile against Ukraine, and warned that a US-backed facility in Poland could become a target.
President Vladimir Putin used a televised address to reveal that Russia’s strike on a missile factory in the Ukrainian industrial city of Dnipro had been carried out with its new “Oreshnik” missile, which he said could travel at 10 times the speed of sound.
