There seems to be many single people among my acquaintances at work or social circles. Most of them (young and not so young) lament that work takes so much out of them that they have little energy to meet new people after office hours. While there are 6 million residents in SG, there doesn't seem to be much opportunities to meet others out of our small circle of friends, acquaintances and colleagues.
