A woman who speaks fluent English with a S'porean accent claiming to be from Manulife, called me recently. When I suggested meeting up in person, she gave an excuse that it is more convenient to speak over the phone. I detected the hesitancy in her voice to have a face-to-face meeting. I eventually made an excuse not to meet and hung up.
There is a WeChat scam making its rounds now too.

She was greedy. If you not greedy or gullible you won’t fall for such scams.

When a deal sounds too good to be true, it is usually too good to be true. LOL!
