10 women to be deported after SPF crackdown on KTV lounges, not allowed to return to S'pore
They were found to be working without a valid work pass or flouting the conditions of their work pass.

29 women were arrested by the Singapore police during an island-wide anti-crime operation which ran from July 13 to 15.
The operation covered 27 KTV lounges, which have pivoted into food and beverage (F&B) outlets.
The women were between the ages of 20 and 47, and of various nationalities.
They were apprehended for offences under the Women’s Charter, the Immigration Act and the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act.
H.mmm...aren't these needed talent because they are doing the jobs Singaporeans don't want to do and is hazardous ....and they are meeting certain demands in our service sector that cannot be met with Singaporeans ....?
Can they change identity?

The authorities scored own goal. As previously ktvs were regulated by plrd. Then these pai kia due to covid 19 restrictions smart smart pivot to F&B... and the authorities quickly siam and arrowed to a newly setup and inexperienced govt body to look after them. lol how many can they deport? just stricten the law, heavy fine and jail term on employer. wasting everyones time to wait for market to open
Deport means they get a free plane ticket back. Just a slap on the wrist.
