Singapore residents are urged to be prepared for potential flash floods from January 10 to 13, 2025, as a monsoon surge is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds to the island nation.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) has warned of thundery showers and gusty winds throughout the period. The increased rainfall could lead to overflowing canals and drains, increasing the risk of flash floods.

Looks like it will not last until Monday. The thick monsoon rain cloud are thinning and dispersing. The sun also start peeping out of the cloud. May be today the shiok weather is over.

Singapore is currently experiencing cool and rainy weather from a monsoon surge. Widespread continuous rain, heavy at times and with thunder, is expected to continue until 13 Jan 2025 (Monday). The daily minimum temperatures could dip to around 22 degrees Celsius in some places during this period.

Next month should be hot and humid. Now a days weather like this... Rain keep rain yes due to Monsoon but come hot weather will be very hot and humid.

Actually this monsoon come late. Usually always on Dec. I know few years back it keep raining literally nearly month from Dec till CNY. Is not say rain whole day is usually afternoon will rain till evening or so.
