HDB policies like the Minimum Occupation Period and resale price controls hinder the residents' ability to sell their flats at market value and limit their financial options. These restrictions are a form of govt intervention that unfairly benefits our leaders and 1st-time buyers at the expense of existing lessees/tenants.
