Asians are always good at innovation. They can learn very quickly and make improvements to sell cheaper in the market but they are not as good at inventions, not because they are not smart but because of their education and culture. Singapore has been a neutral country for years and they absorbed all the talents from the US, Europe, and Asian countries including China and India. With the Government's Singapore Enterprise and EDB's help, it can be a good "cooking pot" for AI startups to flourish. The future would be bright for Singapore for AI startups.

Bullshite lah.

On the contrary, Singapore is not conduicive to tech startups especially something as cutting edge as AI.  There are no good engineers nor math wizards in Singapore as everyone wants to be a rent seeker or property flipper. The best math talent are in China and in the US.  Case closed.
The environment was not conducive. If you're familiar with sim wong hoo's story, you'll know what I mean. Not sure if it has changed over the yrs

Come out with a Deepseek or OpenAi first then talk.

All talk only.  No end product. Just like what happened with self-driving, EV, biotech, etc.

It's better but overall it's still shite.

There are no local engineers and scientists unlike China and the US.

Better stick to banking and property flipping.
Huat ah ...so many c-suite calibre ...
The AI scientists in USA are mostly Chinese anyway

By flipping coins sometimes one can win with more than 50% chance. If a guru couldn’t outperform that, aren’t all his efforts in analysing the market not useful at all?

Have worked in Singapore R&D before. There're a few good ones but then they are the minority and they're quickly promoted to management level, which doesn't really tap on their intellectual prowess. Most of the other researchers cannot make it.
