Does Taiwan has a choice?  China won’t buy; also,  they can’t sell chips to China.  They depend on the US for export.  The US buys more than China from Taiwan.

That was last year under Biden Administration, after Trump took office, all these will be changed especially if the U.S. imposes 100% tariff to Taiwan made chips, American consumers have no choice but to buy from other sources.
