It is a deliberate effort of the PAP to increase the population of Singapore by importing foreign workers and employees.
Becauee of this the population increased rapidly despite the low birth rate from 4M to 6M.
Instead of solving tbe low birth rate issue the PAP went for a quick fix by increasing the population density to highest in the world among all countries.
Doing this created a vicious cycle as overcrowding and caused birth rate to go down further. The PAP then use the low birth rate as a justication to bring in even more people.
The PAP tells the people it wants to improve birth rate but implements policies that causes birth rate to go lower.

I feel that a good govt should implement policies that benefit the citizens in the long term not hurt them.
Yes there are temporary relief measures like CDC vouchers but the cost of living increase will be with us until good long term policies are implemented.
I feel that the PAP govt has been dishonest and insincere with Singaporeans over the years. They acted concerned about our low birth rates and high cost of housing. They promise to act to solve these issues. But if you look at what they have done - they have made the problems worse.
Where is the integrity?
In a few months they will be asking for our votes agajn. To sweeten the situation and make singaporeans forget the real problems theh kept giving handouts. Yes many Singaporeans will be fooled by this and vote for them but i hope more people wise up and stop themselves from getting fooled by this trickery.
