Joseph Bonetti, Intel's chief engineering project manager, wrote in an article on LinkedIn that Intel is on the verge of regaining its leadership in process technology and winning customers among fabless chipmakers in the coming years, so handing over manufacturing control to TSMC would be counterproductive. He urged US President Trump and Intel's board of directors not to sell or hand over control of the company to TSMC.
