The operation was carried out on the recommendation of Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Sar Sokha , by Lieutenant General Sok Veasna, Director-General of Immigration, who instructed the Department of Investigation and Enforcement to expel a total of 42 Vietnamese nationals from Cambodia through the Bavet and Prey Vall international border checkpoints in Svay Rieng province for illegally staying and working without a passport, violating the proclamation on the expulsion of foreigners from the Kingdom of Cambodia, and carrying out the final sentence (for illegal use of drugs).
