According to the Office of the President, on this day, the three directors, one special advisor, eight senior secretaries, and three deputy directors collectively tendered their resignation to Acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.

This is not the first time that senior presidential staff have resigned en masse.

On December 4th of last year, they tendered their resignation en masse to President Yoon, taking responsibility for the 'December 3 martial law incident.' Also, on January 1st of this year, they tendered their resignation in protest against the appointment of two Constitutional Court justices by then Acting President Choi Sang-mok (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance).

In light of this precedent, it is unlikely that the acting president will accept the resignations of the presidential staff.

Meanwhile, the Blue House appears to be in shock as it had been preparing for former President Yoon's return to work until this morning. The Blue House has not made any statement.
