What if the government paid up to S$8,000 for training to help locals get better jobs, but gave more to those earning less, like S$4,000 a month? Does that sound like a good deal?
Imagine you’re looking to switch to a better job but training costs S$5,000. If a grant cut it to S$1,000, would you go for it, or is something else holding you back?
