Tokyo | A defiant China insisted “the sky won’t fall” from Donald Trump’s aggressive tariffs announced last week, but acknowledged that growth and exports from the world’s second-largest economy will be hit.
In a lengthy commentary, Beijing said it has room to ease borrowing costs and could introduce a range of other options to defend its economy against Trump’s sweeping tariffs on all imports into the United States.

Best is China issue spending vouchers to all citizens so they can ramp up internal consumption and help soak up all the rest of the world's goods. Get everyone away from the US market. Lol
China may take a few more years to dethrone USA, particularly due to the massive USD circulation in the world. That can change once more move away from using USD for international trade since eventually all going to sell to China and use RMB instead of USD.

Trump wants to cut rates so refinancing debt is cheaper. Fed is not wrong to wait for clearer picture on impact of tariff. Trump purposely created the policy induced recession.
I have $1.6mil bet that rates will cut since Jan, I'm ok to wait for the mayhem to get bigger. Meantime I just work on consolidating more funds to fight it out if need be.
Trump knows that the Americans wanted biden out because inflation is getting out of hand. Trump mid term is next year, chances are mayhem at best extend till SEP this year. He needs to balance it else he can forget about having full control in this 2nd term.
